Tonight I wrapped up the printing for the covers of my Woodland Gnome Cahiers. I stopped at a Kelly Paper store on the way home and found a stock to use for the book block which gave me the information I needed to put the colophon together. I created another Gocco screen for it and knocked out the last of the printing on the covers.
Wrapping up the covers

I am so impressed. It looks like you are super organized and a very gifted book maker. Thanks for sharing your process. I hope I get to meet you at Journalfest.
Question: Where did you get that small press? I have been looking for such a handy press quite a while, but in Germany it’s hard to get one.
BTW: Love your work!
I’ve had my Goccos for years and I bought them on Ebay. Unfortunately, they’re no longer being produce nor are the supplies to print with them. Once I exhaust the supplies I have, I’ll have to go back to a normal silk screen process for even my small projects.
Thanks for sharing! This will be my first year at Journal Fest and this will motivate me to get started on my trades too!
